Sound reminders

Fine-grained control over what rings. This works alongside the "Sound reminders" switch in the sidebar -- that one is the master on/off for this browser; these two decide which categories ring and what they sound like, and are saved to your account like everything else on this page.

Azaan reminders

Only rings while your default calendar above is a Hijri-family one (Bohra, Sunni, or Shia) -- azaan times don't mean much while you're browsing the Gregorian, Hebrew, Parsi, or Hindu grid, so this switches off automatically on those, even if it's checked here.

Birthday & anniversary reminders

Pick a sound in either dropdown, then tap ▶ next to it to hear it before saving. Only "Synth beep" is guaranteed to play everywhere -- the others need their file to actually exist (either one of the built-ins under static/sounds/, or something you've uploaded yourself below); until then that choice silently falls back to the synth beep instead of failing.

Want a specific person's birthday to always use a different ringtone than the category default? That's a per-event setting on the event itself, not here -- these two selects are the category-wide fallback.

Upload your own ringtone

Don't like the built-in options? Upload an mp3/wav/ogg/m4a/aac file (under 5 MB) and it'll show up as a choice in both dropdowns above, and as a per-event override on individual events.

Vastu Shastra

Vastu Shastra is the traditional Indian system of architecture and design. Your property details (home orientation, entrance direction, toilet placement) and daily guidance now live together on the Vastu page -- head there to set or update them.
